UNFILTERED Rules and Regulations

These Rules and Regulations establish the operational and conduct requirements applicable to all entrants, finalists, guests, and participating representatives in connection with UNFILTERED.

Entries must be completed only through official YUME channels designated for UNFILTERED submissions.

Participants must provide accurate registration information and promptly correct any material inaccuracy.

Only one competition entry per act per official cycle may be submitted unless YUME expressly allows otherwise.

Submitted songs must be original and must not infringe any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other third-party rights.

Entries may not contain unlawful, defamatory, hateful, threatening, obscene, sexually exploitative, or otherwise prohibited material, nor content that encourages violence, discrimination, or unlawful conduct.

YUME may reject content that is technically deficient, commercially unusable, misleadingly authored, or otherwise inconsistent with the competition's standards.

Participants must conduct themselves professionally in all competition-related spaces, including rehearsals, live events, interviews, online interactions, and communications with staff, judges, and other contestants.

Harassment, intimidation, discrimination, retaliation, dangerous conduct, or disruptive behavior may result in immediate removal or disqualification.

Audition videos must be live-performance videos and must not misrepresent the performer, the vocal source, or the musicianship shown.

YUME may set or update technical requirements for framing, visibility, audio clarity, and file specifications.

Only approved entries published within the YUME ecosystem are eligible for Online Heat participation.

Fan support is measured only through YUME-approved and verifiable platform activity.

YUME may freeze, remove, or adjust engagement activity pending fraud investigation, technical remediation, or rights review.

Any public leaderboard is informational and may be delayed, rounded, adjusted, or moderated for anti-fraud, operational, or editorial reasons.

Official results are determined only after YUME's final validation and certification process.

Finalists must comply with all rehearsal, wardrobe, call-time, technical, travel, and production directives issued by YUME or its production partners.

Failure to attend or perform as required may result in replacement, forfeiture, or prize ineligibility.

No prize is transferable unless YUME expressly authorizes transfer in writing. YUME may substitute equivalent or reasonably comparable prize components if required by availability, law, sponsor requirements, or production necessity.

YUME will provide all-expense-paid finalist travel support, including air travel, land transportation, and accommodations, subject to finalist compliance with production schedules, travel documentation requirements, and applicable law. Taxes, personal spending, excess baggage, optional upgrades, banking costs, customs charges, and similar personal or incidental expenses remain the responsibility of the participant unless YUME expressly confirms otherwise in writing.

YUME may interpret these Rules and Regulations in its sole good-faith discretion, subject to applicable law, and may issue clarifications, bulletins, or administrative guidance that become binding upon publication or notice.
